For previous Taikai events, HUOA has coordinated the creation of a uniform shirt for all Hawaii Taikai participants. Shirts are not mandatory. All groups from countries and separate U.S. states have color-coordinated shirts and wear them for the international opening parade down Kokusai Street, and opening and closing ceremonies at the stadium. In previous Taikai events, Hawaii has worn various Aloha Shirt designs. This year we will printed dry-fit polo shirts for men and women.
