Uchinanchu Annual 2021

The HUOA is pleased to announce the publication of Uchinanchu 2021, a colorful look back at a year filled with unexpected challenges.

2021 has been another challenging year due to COVID-19. However, its calendar included a successful year of hosting our virtual events, including the Virtual Okinawan Festival, Irei no Hi (Remembrance Day), Uchinanchu no Hi (Worldwide Uchinanchu Day) and weekly Yuntaku (talk story) Live! Collectively, these virtual events have attracted over 150,000 views from around the world.
